  • Wrote and edited analytical reports for not-for-profit organizations including the Firebird Foundation and the American Red Cross.

Coaching/Teaching

Grant-writing

  • Authored grant proposals and managed oversight of departmental budget of $85,000 to provided community disaster education and outreach to more than 8000 individuals at the American Red Cross – Mid Coast Chapter.

  • Authored numerous successful grant requests to fund capital improvements, to aid in program development and to ensure long-term viability of a community center in western Maine serving a communities of Phillips, Avon and Madrid.

  • Co-authored funding requests for AmeriCorps programs and oversaw direct service staff for several disaster services projects.

  • Created a comprehensive development plan and implementations strategy for the Maine School of Masonry to launch an annual appeal and a scholarship fund.
